Lumput Su Kutuk Lumput

Hai!!

Masih lagi terkenang aktiviti Eksplorasi Bahasa semalam, saya teringat lagu yang kami terpaksa nyanyikan semasa berada di stesen terakhir. Bunyinya begini :

Lumput su kutuk lumput,
lumputluh tunggu-tunggu,
cuputlah uduk cuput,
cuputluh bungun pugu-pugu..

  3. Rip-off from komic Ujang. Pantun muncung. There's another one, pantun senyum, change everything to letter 'i'.

Ujang comic was very famous during early 90's.

  6. Hi!

    1. Murid originally means the one whom in need. It's an Arabic derived from rootword A-R-D (arada).

But in Arabic the meaning of the word is not student. It was 'dimelayukan'. In Arabic student is talib (pl. tullab).

    2. That's true. Another example of 'dimelayukan'. In kelantan/pattani malay dialect it means apple. Tuffah. Older generation still using this word.

    3. Jemala actually from Arabic word 'jamala'. It means mount or burden. It's from root word J-M-L. Camel in Arabic is called 'jamal' - animal that carrying mount/burden.

But if the root word is 'jamula', which also spelled J-M-L in Arabic it bring means to gather or sum-up. Different harakat in Arabic brings very big different means. Its the root word of 'jumlah' or total/nett.
